The earlier the better, but as a general rule we encourage new mothers to see their postnatal angel within the first two weeks of child birth. This enables your postnatal angel to help set your baby’s routine before any bad habits have started to form.

How quickly will my baby take to get into a great routine?

If help is sought straight after birth, your baby can be settled into a great routine as early as two weeks after birth.

How many consultations will I need?

The number of consultations required will depend on the individual but, in most cases, those who seek help within the first two weeks will only need one consultation. If you seek help two weeks after birth, further consultations may be required.

How long will I have to wait to see my postnatal angel?

Your postnatal angel guarantees to see you within 72 hours of receiving your request.

I live outside of Metropolitan Melbourne, can Postnatal Angel Service help me?

At this stage, Postnatal Angel Service consultations are only available to those living within greater Melbourne, however telephone consultations are available in special circumstances.

Am I eligible for a rebate?

Rebates are offered under some private health funds.

I’d like to give a consultation as a gift to an expectant mother, how can I do this?

Gift vouchers are available upon request.
